It's knowing that there will always be someone there for you. It's dreams shared, and goals achieved. It's counting on other and being counted on. It is real."

Kappa Kappa Gamma's sisterhood is unbeatable because of our welcoming traditions and eagerness to support one another. Gamma Rho treats its New Members as sisters from the second they step foot in our suite. Each of our new members are greeted by a "heart" sister on Bid Day who helps them navigate through their first few weeks of Kappa and remains a mentor through their years in the chapter.

Each New Member is also added to a "Key Family", which includes her Big, Grandbig, and possibly her Great-Grandbig! Big/Little Revelation is an exciting week full of activities leading up to each New Member meeting their Key Family. This family provides a source of comfort and constant love.

The unique joys of sisterhood found in Kappa Kappa Gamma membership are boundless. Finding your best friends, studying together, living together, having someone to share your worries and your dreams are treasured moments. Women with the same goals and ideals create a sisterhood of mutual respect. This bond of friendship which begins in college will last a lifetime.
